Making friends with a kangaroo

Lorikeets

First, the caretakers gave us plates, then comes a pail of milk to fill our plates... then comes one of the caretakers sounding a gong nearby... whew!...lorikeets and lorikeets everywhere flocking on our plates...I almost lost my balance...a pair stood on my head and three on my shoulder then in a little while they walk towards the plate.

Feeding Lorikeet Birds

Anniversary of Balay Dangupan

A child's eye never lie...

Last September 12, 2006 RTC Branch 12 staff were invited to attend an anniversary celebration of Balay Dangupan. It is a place where 26 minor girls are housed, to be cared, loved and taught values and the essence of life.

Some of the City's (Davao) staff are there too.

It's a wonder to see abused kids carrying their warm smiles in the midst of their hard experiences.

A reason to celebrate life...

There are times when physical bodies can't cope with what is expected. There are so much to be done and the spirit is more than willing to overcome tedious tasks and yet everything's not done perfectly....maybe because minds tend to choose a perfect environment.

Some of my friends in Queensland

This is Tadeja, a 22 year old scientist in Queensland. Her mother is from Slovania and her father from Croatia. They've been in Australia for more than twenty years already. At her back is Tadeja's Greek-Australian boyfriend, an I.T. graduate and is already working there. At Tadeja's right side is my sister, who married a Croatian and already a citizen of Australia. He moved in Australia for 27 years and has eventually put up a textile business there. At my back is an Australian with his Chinese girlfriend at far right side of the group.

Shannon Knoll's favorites

Just around Docklands, the presence of an umbrella white tent about 200 square metters struck our sight from the 29th floor bldg 90 of Docklands, Melbourne. With me, my sister and with her husband, we paraded through cool winds blowing towards us...and boylah! one of most famous stars Shannon Knoll was there, promoting these Yamaha bikes...
